Dragons have always been in most of the fairy tales I was told in my mere age. As a player you will be performing the role of a farmer who establishes his own dragon breeding farm where by lots of cute and mysterious dragons are given birth and nourished to get adult. In short you will have to decorate a virtual zoo where you will be managing a collection of different genres of dragons to attract the people. For which the people will arrive at your DragonVale the zoo of magical dragons and pay you for the exhibition of dragons. Primarily your DragonVale zoo will include some less attractive creatures in it and you will have to work hard to breed these species of dragon by feeding them, taking care of them etc. People will automatically start visiting your dragon exhibition once they start growing. They will pay you for the entry and some catchy dragons. The more levels you pass out you will be let to purchase more attractive dragons which end with the magical "Rainbow Dragon" rare specie of dragons.
Types of Dragon you can have in your DragonVale
The developers have kept in mind about the distinctive features while designing dragons for different levels. There are some plant dragons, some earth dragons, fire dragons, cold, lightning, water, air, and metal etc. All these dragons were named after some reasons and according to their features. There are only three special categories of dragons that will boost up your income to sky-high level and they are rare too. Firstly the "Rainbow Dragon" I have named it before which is also known as "Leap Year Dragon", the "Sun Dragon" and the "Moon Dragon". There are also some other additions made by the developers keeping in mind about the celebrations and the fests like Christmas, Halloween, St. Patricks day, Valentine and so on.

As I stated that the players will be awarded with virtual money with which they can purchase food for dragons or baby dragons for to grow them. In this DragonVale the money given by the visitors is called the "Dragon Cash" and is very much important for the dragon feeder.
